Inventory and Impact Analysis
First, all application system sources (programs, files, transactions, control language, etc…) are inventoried and stored in a Knowledge Base. When transformation applies to specific logical data types, then an exhaustive logical data dictionary is built, validated, and published. The application map is generated along with Impact Analysis hypertext reports for easier navigation.

Source Code Transformation
This step consists of automatically transforming the original source code based on customers´ specifications.

Data Transformation
Based on the logical dictionary, NGSET provides automatic generation of application bridges, and input to databases or file migration utilities.
Source Verification
NGSET technology can be used to perform an independant validation and verification of the transformations. It complements testing while requiring fewer resources and providing a larger coverage.
Test Preparation
NGSET logical dictionary allows automatic generation of input parameters to testing tools.
